Can't figure out why he hasn't been charged as an accessory after the fact?
Unless they suspect he had an even bigger role in these murders.

Business partner of murder suspect jailed on parole violation

Feb 23, 2005 9:12 pm US/Central
FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- A Haslet man was arrested today for a
parole violation, a day after his business partner was arrested in
the deaths of a pregnant woman and her seven-year-old son.

Thirty-three-year-old Ronald Royce Dodd is being questioned by
police about what he knows about the murders.

Jail officials say they have no information on the type of
parole violation. Dodd was arrested in 1997 on nine charges,
including an assault and family violence charge.

Dodd's friend and business partner, 37-year-old Stephen Dale
Barbee, was charged with capital murder after police say he
confessed yesterday to suffocating bagel shop owner Lisa Underwood
and and her son Jayden.

Thirty-four-year-old Underwood was seven months pregnant with
Barbee's daughter.

The Underwoods were reported missing Saturday, prompting a
nationwide Amber Alert.

Their bodies were found yesterday in a shallow Denton County
grave about 25 miles north of Fort Worth.

Police say they have not decided whether to charge Dodd in
connection with the slayings.

Police say Dodd told investigators that he saw the bodies in the
back of Underwood's vehicle in Denton County early Saturday and
that Barbee told him what happened.
